SEAN MCGUIRE, PRINCIPAL & FOUNDER OF E.D. BELLIS, INC.
Sean developed a unique understanding of the Affordable Care Act as a US Senate
Finance committee staff member where began working on the law over five years
ago. An authority in explaining the law, Sean dissects ACA and exposes the fallacies
and prejudices of both political parties. Sean uses his healthcare leadership experience
as a lens, through which he brings into focus the problems existing in healthcare today.
Featured as a presenter for Inc. Magazine, his commentary appears frequently on the
widely acclaimed and cited health policy blog HealthReformExplained.com. Sean
can also be heard Saturday mornings in the heartland as host of
America’s Healthcare Challenge a weekly radio program preparing business owners
and the public with up to date information on health reform and changing
government policies. Sean is a proud graduate of Marquette University.
DR. DAVID JACOX, CEO OF JACOX SOLUTIONS
Dr. Jacox earned his Doctoral Degree inthe College of Community & Human Resources
from the University of Nebraska in 1980. His dissertation examined the relationship
between standards of Medicaid accreditation and active treatment leading to
placement in the LRA through the eyes of persons in service, parents and litigators who
had prosecuted Right to Treatment and Least Restrictive Alternative cases. Dr. Jacox
has spent the past 30 years in President and CEO roles for various organizations.
