Behavior Policies
I understand that my the providers at Creative Hearts Daycare do their best to encourage healthy
relationships among children and providers. The providers encourage friendships among the children
and age-appropriate interactions.
I understand that if my child(ren) exhibits any of the behavior listed below that cannot be curbed, it is
grounds for unenrollment of the child(ren) responsible:
• significant bodily harm towards another child or provider
• self-injurious behavior (continuous head-banging, biting, etc.)
• disrespect of important boundaries of other children/age-inappropriate sexual behavior
I understand that I should inform the providers at Creative Hearts Daycare of any special needs that my
child(ren) may have. Providers are not special needs trained. Behaviors related to a special condition
may be able to be accommodated for if I inform the providers before enrollment and give thorough
instruction.
I understand that Creative Hearts Daycare does not incorporate physical punishment, and that my
child(ren) have the legal right not to be assaulted in any way by provider or other child.

Absence and Unenrollment Policies
I understand that I have the right to remove my child(ren) from the care of Creative Hearts Daycare at
any time. A two week notice is strongly preferred. Feedback is appreciated but not necessary.
I understand that I must notify the providers of Creative Hearts Daycare at least one day in advance if I
expect my child(ren) to be absent for any number of days. Special conditions, religious holidays, with a
doctor's note, or with family grievance, are excused and understood by the providers at Creative Hearts
Daycare.
I understand that Creative Hearts provides only full-time care, and that weekly payment still applies
with unexcused absences. Payment is deducted appropriately for excused absences.
I understand that I am granted a meeting with the providers of Creative Hearts Daycare before
unenrollment if I feel that it was not because of a violation of any policies of Creative Hearts Daycare.
Creative Hearts does its best to provide stability and dependability for parents and children.

introduction of any new children.
7 – 7:30 a.m. Story/reading time.
7:30 – 8:15 a.m. Coloring time.
8:15 – 8:30 a.m. Hand washing.
8:30 – 9 a.m. Morning snack.
9 – 9:45 a.m. Backyard play. (Weather permitting).
9:45 – 10 a.m. Toy clean up and hand washing.
10 – 10:30 a.m. Second story/reading time.
10:30 – 11 a.m. Free play with toys.
11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. Hand washing and lunch.
