I am writing this letter in hope to fill a position at your hospital where I can utilize my
knowledge of health and wellness and share that passion with other like-minded individuals. My
goal is to gain healthcare-based work experience to strengthen my foundation for a lifelong
career in medicine. I am a motivated 25-year-old professional with an array of employment
experience in many different fields, most recently in the busy Sentara hospitals of Virginia. My
work experience includes, but is not limited to, producing detailed medical records while
maintaining patient confidentiality in several Emergency Departments, training others on the job,
phlebotomy at a global human proteins manufacturing company, and administrative support for a
large nonprofit organization in New York City whose mission is to improve healthcare for
underserved populations worldwide. As a Biology major and member of the Honors & Scholars
program at my alma mater of Virginia Wesleyan College, I am familiar with lab techniques,
research, and data analysis. I am also a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and, if there is room
for the opportunity, I would love to bring those skills to your workplace as well.
I strive to consistently make a positive impact wherever I am and it is in my nature to
innovate more efficient ways to complete my work. I am thorough, personable, and also very
comfortable with working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. In addition, I am
proficient with Microsoft Office, FoxPro, Teleform, Quickbooks Pro, and Epic Software. I am
absolutely sure that I will quickly become competent with any task I may need to perform in
order to fulfill my designated responsibilities. I am also willing and eager to further my
education.
