4. The Art
➔ Seismique is a mind-bending,
interactive experience filled with
immersive exhibits and stunning
displays designed to both entertain
and inspire our guests.
➔ This museum uses holograms,
augmented reality, light mapping,
motion tracking, gamification, and
more.
5. Meet the Creators
Like I said in the intro slide, Seismique used 65 creators. I will be
introducing just a few of the talented 65 creators!
❏ Jessica Guerra
➔ A local Houston fine artist and designer. Her work is mostly
recognized for its bold graphic florals, patterns, and inky woodcut
impressions.
❏ Jessica Rice
➔ She began her career by mural’s and street art. Her work is
mostly recognized for cartoons, trippy daydreams, and
pop-surrealism.
❏ Kai Ussin
➔ A animation artist, 3D modeling, storyboards, and character
illustrations.
6. Meet the Creators
❏ Ross Donewar
➔ Ross has over a decade of experience in art
from working as a painter, scaffold builder,
construction project manager, and paintings.
❏ Nicky Davis
➔ He is known for his creations in designer toys,
murals, fine art, and merchandise.
❏ Jhonattan Arango
➔ He makes geometric, abstract murals and paper
art using only triangles.
7. Analyze
➔ When entering everything is drawn in black and white
like the picture shown. The staff is waiting to hand out
wristbands if tickets were pre purchased. We had no
line to enter. The staff inform you of the different ways
you can enter.
➔ Though there are not really lines, you do have to wait
for others to be able to participate in the interactive
activities.
➔ Seismique used visual and interactive art to provide
their visitors a spectacular visit.
8. Analyze
➔ After my visit I found a layout of the
Seismique museum. This would have
definitely come in handy during my visit!
➔ The top picture is an interactive activity
that allows you to touch the globes and
change their color.
9. Interpretation
➔ This is one of my favorite museum I
have ever gone to!
➔ Seismique is a great summer activity
and is fun for all ages
➔ There is a surprise around every
corner, almost every room has a
different theme to it.
➔ I believe include visual art made by
artist and interactive activities create an
awesome fun environment.
10. Interpretation
➔ The galaxies are designed to
stimulate imagination, heighten
curiosity, inspire wonder, and
most importantly, deliver an
extreme dose of fun.
➔ Many of the rooms are alien
themed. The lighting and details
provide a space with alien
environment.
11. Evaluation
➔ Though this is an amazing experience I believe this
is a museum you would really only go once.
➔ No strollers are allowed in so be expecting to carry
the little ones!
➔ Enjoy every moment! It is said this experience last
2 hours but have heard of many people rushing
through rooms and finishing way faster than 2
hours.
➔ I have only seen a few museum like Seismique
which makes me feel of it as unique.
12. Evaluation
➔ I believe a museum like this is a huge success.
Seismique opened in 2020 and has 4.5 star rating
out of almost 3,000 reviews.
➔ After reading reviews I noticed people who lived
outside of Houston/Texas stated that there are
many museums like this which does question it’s
uniqueness. However many people who live in this
area or Texas don’t have access to many places
like Seismique.
➔ One museum that shares similarities but
differences is Color Factory which is also located in
Houston, TX.
