Alison Canavan completed four rounds of service with AmeriCorps NCCC from 2012-2013. She assisted with after-school programs, environmental work, and disaster relief efforts in Texas, New York, Oklahoma, Colorado and provided tutoring, mentoring, construction help and community outreach. Additionally, she volunteered independently with various organizations focused on food banks, children, zoos, gardens and charity events.
