8. Why Tourism and Events
Management?
To be successful in the management industry, quick
decision making and excellent communication skills are
key for any employee. This course teaches students the
theory they need to know across all of the elements of
management from sales to marketing to how prepare and
host and event, and how to run an tourism agency and
students will be taught to make decisions that will benefit
the business that they will hopefully come to work for, to
teaching them food service operations.

course will teach students how to handle situations
professionally and in a way that will benefit the
business. After the six-month study period in which
the students will strengthen their theory and
knowledge, they will then be sent on a six-month paid
internship in a local Swiss business.

two stages through a series of modules that will be
taught to them through lectures and the internship
period.
