Profile
Currently a 5th year PhD student in Mathematics at UCLA, due to graduate in June 2016. I also hold a M.S.
Degree in Cryptography and Code Theory. My studies in mathematics have allowed me to develop an analytical,
critical way of thinking and I strongly believe that it has allowed me to become a more flexible person when it
comes to working in the industry.
I am well versed in C/C++ and Algorithms and Data Structures due to the fact that I took 3 years of Computer
Science, in parallel with my Mathematics degree.
Currently learning Machine Learning (I am currently enrolled in a graduate course at UCLA in ML:
http://math.ucla.edu/~dakuang/math285J/ ). I am passionate about applying my mathematical skills in the
real world and I believe the industry is heading towards ML and Data Science.
