• Genre is important for film producers and audiences because it’s the main propose of why you watch the movie
it tells you what is the whole movie about and what to expect in it this is for audience so the see what kind of
genre for example what type of movie you into. For producers they have to know what they aiming for so they
know which types of characters they want and the sets so for example if the style 'genre' is horror they will set
it in a dark and scary places.
