Project: Specific Aim 1: Characterize the expression of Kv1.3 and Insulin Receptor
channels in avian hypothalamic neurons. To determine developmental changes in
hypothalamic Kv1.3 and Insulin Receptor gene expression on intact avian hypothalamic
tissue isolated from varying time points during embryonic development. To characterize
the localization of Kv1.3 and Insulin Receptor channels in hypothalamic nuclei.
LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
