1. About Westbourne Partners:
Overview
Westbourne Partners was established in 2008 with the objective of helping experienced professionals and recent
graduates with outstanding quantitative and/or software skills to advance or begin their careers. Since then, our
business has grown to encompass several core markets operating globally and we are now preferred suppliers to a
number of Trading Companies, Banks, Hedge Funds, and recently, other commercial companies and government
bodies worldwide.
Our steady growth since inception is the result of the ability to add genuine value to candidates and clients within
certain niche markets which we have a clear understanding of.
Markets
Front Office Group: Quantitative Trading & Research
We work with recent graduates, scientists, mathematicians, software and hardware engineers, as well as experienced
traders and trading researchers. We introduce our candidates into successful trading teams and businesses which
require and allow individuals to work collaboratively to solve complex mathematical and computing problems that
happen to be applied to financial markets.
We work globally; across the main scientific and financial hubs within the USA, Europe and Far East. Specifically
we work with sell-side algorithmic trading desks at investment banks, high frequency proprietary trading companies
and hedge funds that specialise in high frequency or statistical arbitrage strategies over longer time horizons.

Front Office Group: Quantitative Analytics & Risk
Involving the placement of junior through to senior derivatives quantitative analysts predominantly into Investment
Banks and Hedge Funds throughout UK, mainland Europe and USA.
We work on pricing / library quant mandates, desk quants and strategists through model validation and market and
credit risk management. We split the market by asset class, looking at FICC, Equities and Commodity quant
positions.

Front Office Group: Investment Analysis, Equity Research, Sales & Trading, ECM, DCM, Strategy Consulting
Working on retained mandates and occasional contingent searches within Investment Banking, Equity Research,
Sales & Trading; Investment Research and Portfolio Management; also Strategy Consulting for Financial Markets.
We are retained suppliers a small number of Investment Banks globally and work with a variety of smaller hedge
funds and renowned consulting firms in EMEA.

Information Technology Group: Permanent
Involving the placement of software and database developers, infrastructure engineers and IT support personnel to
support – and facilitate - all activities within the financial markets. We are preferred suppliers to front office groups at
a number of investment banks and Hedge Funds, but also the core IT functions within these organisations.

Information Technology Group: Contract
We are preferred suppliers to large global corporations & government bodies through to smaller and mid-sized
commercial organisations. We have existing framework agreements in place with large multinationals and are highly
experienced and mindful of the legal and tax considerations for both end-client and consultant.
We are also closely aligned to a number of the Government Procurement Service frameworks to facilitate our work
within a number of NHS trusts and councils.
Typical skill-sets that we in which we are able to connect client and consultant are Database and Information
Management, Software Development, IT Support.
