Board Experience (Summary)
Board Achievements
• As Board Chair led BreakThru People Solutions in the development of high-level and
targeted strategies to ensure organisational applicability to the National Disability
Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Positioned the organisation advantageously for the full-scale
implementation of this national reform agenda.
• Currently leading several M&A projects to create a sustainable national NDIS service
provider
• As Board Chair championed governance reform across the Break Thru People Solutions
Board and down through the organisation. This included the introduction of robust risk
management infrastructure, systems and processes; increased accountability and
transparency tools and measures; quality assurance processes and practices.
• As Board Chair steered the Norwood Association Board and organisation through the
most significant period of State and Commonwealth mental health reform in 50 years.
This included championing a highly strategic organisational merger and associated
business to prepare the organisation for NDIS.
