In 2010, the rate of return on assets for foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises was 7.1%, 0.9% lower than
nationwide average. Among foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in following major distribution areas, those
enterprises in Hunan realized the highest rate of return on assets, and those in Guangdong achieved the lowest ROAs. Those foreign-funded and
HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in Hunan realized a ROA of 9.2% in 2010, 1.2% higher than the nationwide average, 2.1% higher than
