In 2010, the rate of return on assets for foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises was 9.3%, 2.8% lower than
nationwide average. Among foreign-funded enterprises and HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in following major distribution areas, those
enterprises in Fujian realized the highest rate of return on assets, and those in Shanghai achieved the lowest ROAs. Those foreign-funded and
HK, Macau and Taiwan-funded enterprises in Fujian realized a ROA of 18.6% in 2010, 6.5% higher than the nationwide average, 9.3% higher than
