FINAL YEAR PROJECT  “Modeling of Multistage Hydraulically Fractured Horizontal Well in a Shale Gas
Reservoir”
The objective of this project is to model a multistage hydraulically fractured
network on a horizontal well using Petrel® so that the ultimate recovery from
Shale Gas Reservoirs can be maximized. It also focuses on the development of
Inflow Performance Relationship in SGR keeping into account the effect of
Desorption, Slippage and Diffusion.
