disappearing ancient cultures and the human
condition in unique, challenging situations.

Mitchell’s subject matters in his photos are
fairly obvious though no matter where he
goes, in every picture his common goal is
always the same; to capture the human
elements.

His photos and documentary shows deep
meaning and emotion to those who work in
harshest conditions or that still live in their
ancient cultures. His kinds of subjects usually
would reflect emotions and hardship to those
who has no information of them.

He is a freelancer, He shoots documentary
photo stories and write eBooks, mostly in
collaboration with “Craft & Vision” as well as
“Digital Photo School”. Much of his
travel/documentary photography is
represented by Getty Images.

In a way his work depicts warmth or coldness
to present his subject’s emotions, mood and
the environment they work or live in. Usually
the warmth and coldness depicts the subject’s
environment, e.g. if the image from Europe
the environment would be cold.
7. My response to his work
Mitchell’s photography work makes me reflect
about contrast between the life that is in 1st
world countries and 3rd world countries. His
work express the broad emotions the
subject’s convey and of the conditions they
live in.
