3. What is a Community?
Who is a Community Member?

4. A community is a group of people with diverse characteristics who
are linked by social ties, share common perspectives, and engage in
joint action in geographical locations or settings.
A Tech/Developers community is a group of like minded individuals
who come together with the aim to learn, build, connect and impact
each other. These individuals always care about the progress of each
other and the community at large
The community must target collaboration amongst its members, care
for it members, help them grow and proffer possible solutions to
challenges they might be facing

5. A community cannot stand without having some set of individuals
running its affairs. These people are known as the COMMUNITY
MEMBERS.
A community member is someone who is part of a community,
understands how it functions, participates in its activities and serves
as a good Plenipotentiary of that community to convince other
people to join
A community members must uphold the dignity of the community
he/she belongs to and must be willing to contribute to its affairs

● Gives members access to widely available opportunities
(hackathons, webinars, workshops, etc)
● Creates room for mentor/mentee relationship
