PMC: Enabling Business
Transformation with Scalable
Enterprise Resource Planning
and Supply Chain Systems
When it comes to innovation in semiconductor and software solutions, PMC-Sierra is
transforming the networks that connect, move, and store Big Data for businesses
around the world. But disparate IT systems were causing silos in business processes.
So, following two major acquisitions, PMC decided to unify its IT platform.
Working with Bristlecone, PMC integrated the SAP® ERP application with Model N and
SERUS systems and enabled communication with contract manufacturers through the
SAP Customer Relationship Management application. RFID devices were introduced
into shipping and warehouse management, improving the speed and accuracy of
documentation and allowing employees to complete work remotely. The result has
been greater productivity, leaving more time to focus on innovating for customers.
