 Was one of two qualitycontrol/safetyinspector soldiers the unithadfortheirwheeledvehicle
maintenance program.Thatmeantthat all vehicleshadtobe inspectedbymyself orone other
soliderbefore itcouldbe dispatched.
 Inspectionsincludedbasicchecksonthe suspension,safety features,engine,andtoensure that
all of the properpaperworkwas filledoutandpresent.
 Use the M88 to recoverandtow non- functioningtrackvehiclesbacktothe motor pool andalso
to pull the engine andtransmission outof the BradleyFightingVehicle.
 Use the HEMMT to recoverandtow non-functioningwheeledvehicles tothe motorpool.
 Maintainingthe vehiclesincludedtrouble-shootingandrepairingelectrical, hydraulic,engine,
and suspensionproblems. Italsoincludedmaintainingthe winchandcable systemsonboththe
M88 and the HEMMT recoveryvehicle.
 Was signedforthree M88 recoveryvehiclesandHEMMT Wreckerwithone othersolider.We
were heldcompletelyresponsible the maintenance of the vehiclesand all of the equipmentthat
was assignedtoothemwhichincludedchains,cables,clamps,snatchblocksandpulleysystems.
