Since he was the ruler of the gods he was viewed as a father to the Greeks and all-knowing. His two brothers Poseidon and Hermes are the gods of the sea and the underworld. They split up the world to govern by themselves. Hermes was always thought as jealous of Zeus because he got the better part of the deal. <br />Zeus came into power by killing his father Cronus with the help of the twelve other children. He then claimed the throne in Olympus for himself and led a family of twelve major gods and goddesses. He had many love affairs and that were gods and also mortal women. He then later married another goddess who’s name is Hera. They then went onto have Two sons, Ares and Hephaestus, and one daughter, Hebe. <br />Zeus is known for <br />
