Bombay Offset Pvt. Ltd. Is a leading
Offset printers mainly engaged in printing of packaging &
advertising materials. The Director of the Firm is Mr. Kommuru
Satyanarayana. The Company is established in the year 1991.
They make Cartons, Labels, Literatures, Danglers, Buntings,
Calendars, Catch Covers, Visual Aids, House journals and Paper
Carry Bags, for Pharmaceutical, Consumer, Engineering and

5. other industries. They are specialist in L.D. Foam Banner, Non
Terable Banner & Jute carry Bags.
Manufacturing Process :
The raw material which are required for the
manufacturing process are Board, Paper, Ink Chemicals,
Plate, Kerocin, Box. The Manufacturing Products such as
Cartons, Labels, Literatures, Danglers, Buntings,
Calendars, Catch Covers, Visual Aids, House journals and
Paper Carry Bags, for Pharmaceutical, Consumer,
Engineering and other industries. They are specialist in
L.D. Foam Banner, Non Terable Banner & Jute
carry Bags which are made in several machineries as

9. LEGAL ASPECTS
The legal advisor of the firm is Mr. Mohan Tekawade who advises
all the legal matters concern with the firm. The company is
incorporated under the Indian Companies Act1956 in the year
1991. There are many other laws which are applicable to the firm
such as factories Act, Bombay Sales Tax Act etc.
FACTORY DETAIL
The Company is located at Lower Parel. The company premises
is extended upto 8000sq.ft. There are more than 50 workers
working in the firm. There is proper ventilation, drinking & toilet
facilities provided to them. There is 24 hrs. security at the
company premises. All workers are disciplined in the context of
punctuality & sincerity regarding their work.
MARKETING TECHNIQUE :

10. The firm doesn’t invest much on marketing as the firm itself make
their own banners to market their products. Normally it markets
its product through mouth advertising publishing details on
calendar, local area cable advertising, Wall paintings. They also
advertise through the yellow pages.
HAS THE RECESSION AFFECTED THE BUSINESS ?
YES, The recession affected the business because the rate of
the raw materials went High, the manufacturing rates also
increased considerably because of which there are less orders
placed by the clients.
SWOT ANALYSIS
As each company has some strengths in it , it has to also face
some weaknesses .It is like if you give some you get some.

11. STRENGHT
The major strength of the company is its goodwill. Secondly it
manufactures a good quality printing product L. D. foam banners
are their main strength. They provide quick services to their
clients.
WEAKNESS
The firm does not face any major weakness as such, besides the
minor weakness which the firm handles it quite easily.
OPPORTUNITIES
BOMBAY OFFSET PVT.LTD. is a business firm which is trying
their best over the years to improve the quality and to spread
business outside the state all over the India. It has already
spreaded three firms of their own.

THREATS
As Bombay Offset Pvt. Ltd. Is located in an Industrial Area i.e
Shivshakti Indl. Estate there is a lot of competition which the firm
has to face in the market. As there are many printing press
located in that area.
Conclusion

13. It was a great experience visiting the firm. we got to learn many
strategies of the company based on the functioning. Hence it was over
all a great experience.
