In this presentation, I have explained what is SEO and what are the different types of SEO. According to Search Engine Land- SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search engines. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.SEO is a must for traffic, conversions, improved ROI and others.
3. According to SEJ ( Search
Engine Land)
■ SEO stands for “search engine optimization.”
■ In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to
increase its visibility when people search for products or services
related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search
engines.
■ The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more
likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and
existing customers to your business.
4. According to Google
Developer’s Guide
■ Search engine optimization (SEO) is often about making small
modifications to parts of your website.
■ When viewed individually, these changes might seem like
incremental improvements, but when combined with other
optimizations, they could have a noticeable impact on your site's
user experience and performance in organic search results.
5. According toWikipedia
■ Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of
improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to
a website or a web page from search engines.
■ SEO targets unpaid traffic (known as "natural" or
"organic" results) rather than direct traffic or paid traffic.
■ Unpaid traffic may originate from different kinds of
searches, including image search, video
search, academic search,[2] news search, and industry-
specific vertical search engines.
7. ■ Consider three companiesA,B and C selling the same product- palazzo suit.
■ Lets consider the price range is approximately similar
■ Now, site A is able to employ search engine optimization to rank top on the keyword
“palazzo suit”
Site B has a website but have not employed SEO
Site C just has a brick and mortar shop
8. Site C
Site C just has a brick and mortar shop, where customers may visit or not visit. Owner is
not reaching out to customers online.
In 2021, 2.14+ billion people worldwide brought goods and services online , according to
certain estimates.

9.
10. Site C lost all customers in his target audience who are buying online.
People buy online
- To prevent manual efforts and costs in going to the shop
- To have much more options for comparing before buying
- To have ease of payment through cards
- To have much detailed information through continuous chats with service executives
- To have 24*7 shopping ease
- Saving money etc
And many more
12. Coming to Site B
Site B has a website but is not reaching out to all his target audience shopping online .
• It was found that the first rank of Google gets 27.34% more traffic of the total search
volume than the second.
• Similarly, the second position, on-average has 21.47% more traffic than the third
position.
• With so much variation in traffic with just one or two positions, often the one who has
not at all invested in SEO is left out of any traffic.
14. Logic…
People will not know how good is your product/service or how rational is your
price unless and until you reach out to them by ranking top on search engines.
15. Site A
■ Site A with SEO has been able to reach out to majority of its target
audience and have been able to present its proposition of product, price
and others in an effective manner.
■ So, even if Site C or Site B may have a better product or better price range
, Site A is gaining more business volume and customers.
16. Benefits of SEO
■ Get more traffic to website with improved organic visibility
■ Improve number of quality leads
■ Increase in ROI
■ Improved trust and credibility
■ Improves overall marketing strategy
And more…

It starts with seed URLs, few URLs with which it starts fetching pages, then the bot moves from link to link
across the entire web. These URLs are fetched and saved in the large database library of Google, Caffeine.
