- IMPACTS & ACHIEVEMENTS:
o Implemented CRUD (store, retrieve, update, delete) of multiple application entities using JSP, ReactJs, Spring,
Hibernate and Oracle DB.
o Implemented REST web services for internal use and also exposing them as an API to be called by other
applications.
o Supported application messaging architecture: Email/sms alerts configuration, display and messaging queues.
o Also used Spring Boot to create standalone apps for ad hoc use by other applications via REST calls.
o Making use ActiveMQ as JMS broker for fill messaging architecture
o Analyzed cyber security loopholes through Veracode tool to fix the leak in the systems which could invite xss
(cross site scripting) attacks.
o Implemented multiple countries/geographies support in the website to create foundation for country based features
in the website.
o Supporting implementation of website translation in multiple languages further by working linguistic SMEs.
o Designing & supporting dynamic web pages and persisting/restoring their state through serialization.
o Implemented display of tabular data on web pages and their filtering & sorting in ReactJs and Redux
o Implemented audit logging of website activities to make it easier for auditor and customer support to track user
actions.
o Supported troubleshooting and help features of website to make it easier for user to fix common problems on their
own.
o Fixing tricky/random fail issues in Jenkins builds running on Amazon cloud, by SSH into linux box to debug via app
logs to track and troubleshoot root causes.
o Analyzing & improving Jenkins build server configuration by suggesting possible solutions to DevOps team.
o Worked on making website cross browser compatible by improvising pages and scripts to be forward & backward
compatible for prominent web browsers across their extended versions.
o Contributed in formal documentation of risk & version compatibility (OTSS) of third party software with existing
stable application.
o Involved thoroughly in project compliance activities like test coverage, requirement traceability, checkstyle and
sonar.
