Clinic Management Web Portal 2 Year 4 Months (Aug 16 – Present)
Role: Software Engineer R&D (Full Stack Java Developer)
Project Details: Boston Scientific is a medical device MNC based in USA which deals in life saving implantable devices
(pacemakers, brain implants, spine implants etc among others). I am working in product supporting software functions in an
AGILE project as part of in-house software team. Currently we are working on creating a web application which will be a
website portal for remote Clinicians & Customer Support reps.
Roles & Responsibilities:
▪ As an R&D engineer in software team of Cardiac Pacemakers product development, I have been trained in product
domain through trainings as required by regulations and on-job processes.
▪ I do full stack software development from front-end layer to back-end layers of an application which starts with
clarifying requirement during sprint planning to implementing the same within estimated timeline in a sprint.

Project Details: Jackson National Life (a child company of Prudential Insurance, USA) is an American insurance business
giant (Total assets: 218.9 billion USD as of 2015). Jackson has planned this project to migrate their decade old internal
legacy VB tools to web applications (intranet web sites). This long transition is taking place through the use of Java with
modern web frameworks JavaEE, JSF, Primefaces, CDI, SQL & JDBC.
Responsibilities:

Project Functions: Carey is a premium/elite taxi service provider in USA. They provide Limousine and premium Sedan
services for corporate executives transportation to/from airports. Sabre is an airline GDS. An airline GDS (Global Distribution
System) is a giant hub system which provides air reservations services to various airlines. Sabre has joined Carey and they
have planned up an integration of Carey corporate taxi with Sabre reservations. This would enable airlines to provide
corporate clients with the premium taxi pre-reservation convenience.
Responsibilities:
▪ Created web application from scratch using Spring MVC, JSP, jQuery, JavaScript & CSS.
▪ Integrated Carey web services with Sabre web application tool.
▪ Consumed SOAP Web Services (JAX-WS) to fulfill data needs.

Project Functions: SITA deals in air ticket and cargo reservations through their airlines GDS. An airline GDS (Global
Distribution System) is a giant hub system which provides air reservations services to various airlines. SITA owns one of
the biggest and largest GDS systems in the industry. SITA planned to redevelop their complete set of GDS web services
(services like Reservation, Billing, User Details etc). It was an AGILE based 15 days development sprints to regularly review
the deliveries. The web services were developed using mainly Java and Spring-WS.

▪ Developed SOAP web services from scratch using Spring-WS & JAX-WS annotations.
▪ Deployment was carried out on Oracle Weblogic application server.
▪ Generated JPA entities & mappings.
▪ Unit tested using JUnit and Mockito framework and analyzed test coverage using Cobertura tool.
▪ Rigorously maintained code quality via Sonar & Checkstyle rules using continuous Jenkin integration.
