HP-BAS:
Joined as Test Engineer to the then EDS-GDAS now HP-BAS on 3rd
September 2007. My initial
responsibilities included game progression and completion (including localization playthroughs in all the
languages the game supported), testing for functionality issues with the game, writing and reporting the same
on the defect tracking tool (DevTrack Pro). Performing regressions on reported defects on the arrival of a new
build to check for fixesfix failures and report the same. DesigningPreparing test guides for various projects.
Later was assigned with the responsibility of being a Support Test Lead which included preparation of Daily
Status Reports (DSR), Daily Time Reports (DTR), Weekly Status Reports (WSR), Regression Reports,
Regression Trackers, updating Metrics Dashboard, reviewing team performance on a weekly basis, reviewing
defects of team members before reporting them on the defect tracking tool, mentoring new testers in defect
writing, reporting and testing methodologies. Participated in weekly conference calls with the clients to
discuss about the progress of the project.
As a Team Lead, I was successful in mentoring the team members in testing techniques, defect writing,
reporting, regressing defects since the testers had no prior testing experience or exposure.
