“Exercise is important” is a phrase we hear frequently. Why is exercise important? If you are going to be motivated to exercise, you should probably know why it is so crucial to your health. There are hundreds of benefits from working out. One benefit is weight management. You must burn the same amount of calories that you eat and drink to maintain your current weight. To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you intake. Exercise isn’t the only thing that affects weight, but it is a big one. Cardio exercise improves blood flow and oxygen levels. This can reduce your risk of a number of cardiovascular diseases. For obvious reasons, it is a good idea to keep your heart healthy. Do some cardio once in while to keep your heart beating strong! When you exercise chemicals such as dopamine and endorphins are released into your brain. These are the chemicals that make us happy. These chemicals also contribute to us feeling less anxious and stressed. Exercise is literally a stress reliever! There are tons of scientific relationships between exercise and improved sleep.
