• Spend time learning about yourself in today’s society young people are bombarded
with suggestions for personal image through (TV, magazines, etc.) that they ignore
their own phenomenal beauty, characteristics and gifts.
• Identify everything you like about yourself and write it down. Read it periodically.
• Understand that it is ok if everyone does not like what you like. You have to be
confident in the things you enjoy even if it seems weird or corny to others.
• Understand that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. Your beauty is not
defined by your physical appearance but by the content of your character.
