Aaron Lee

Aaron has over 4 years’ experience in both Civil and Local Government
Projects. Since 2011, he has studied at Curtin University, achieving his
Bachelor of Engineering degree in civil and construction (with Honours) in
2016. Although being educated in all areas of Civil and Structural disciplines,
his focus has remained around traffic engineering, road design, public
infrastructure works, construction projects and asset management principles.
After 4 Years of employment as a Cadet Engineer at the City of Wanneroo, he
has developed strengths and skill sets focused around Asset Management of
Government Infrastructure, Road & Traffic Engineering, Civil Construction
Projects, Traffic Design and preventative asset maintenance. In 2016, he
joined the Opus International Consultants team as a Graduate Engineer,
aiming to gain further experience and career development. He is easy to
communicate with and prides himself on strategic planning in all aspects of
his work.

● Completed designs for numerous Traffic Management projects at the City
of Wanneroo including median islands, traffic control devices and road
alignments.
● Assisted in developing early stage preventative maintenance inspections
for Drainage and Road infrastructure at the City of Wanneroo

Wanneroo Parks infrastructure in alignment with Asset Management

Project Experience
City of Rockingham VCR and Predictive Modelling of Road
Network
Client: City of Rockingham
Position Held: Lead Inspection Engineer
Project Value: $75,000
Aaron was part of the two person field inspection team for this project. This
involved Roman2 Visual Condition Rating (VCR) data collection of over
1000km of roads owned and maintained by the City of Rockingham. The data
collected was utilized by the Opus team to provide the client with a RAMM
updates and predictive modelling of forward works maintennance
programmes. Aaron also contributed to the delivery of this project by
completing RAMM updates of recent resurfacing works completed by the
City.

Position Held: Project Admin Officer, Site Surveyor
Project Value: Approx. $8000 per Local Government
Aaron was Project Admin officer and a site surveyor for these projects,
assisting with production of inspection spreadsheets, site plans, and
inspection summaries. Aaron was also heavily involved in completing most of
the visual site inspections.

Aaron was responsible for the major deliverables of this project, completing
an electronic desktop pick up and data verification of Longitudinal Road
Markings for all State and Local Roads within the Wheatbelt Region's Local

Commercial Property Condition
Client: Realmark Commercial
Opus is Engaged by Realmark Commercial to undertake pre-lease property
condition reports on its commercial properties. Aaron regularly undertakes
these inspections and as required by the client on an ongoing basis. The
inspections and reports form a part of the lease agreement between Realmark
Commercial and their tenant.
City of Wanneroo Parks Infrastructure - Asset Condition
Client: City of Wanneroo

Responsible for Inspection, Maintenance & Condition data entry of City
owned park assets. Deliverables included condition assessment pickup of all

water tanks, first aid compartments, hand rails, slide out step ladders, hazard
lighting and tray access with recent safety concerns in mind.
