To Whomsoever It May Concern
A. Prasant Singh Rao, a bonafide student of Delhi Private School, is presently studying in
Grade 12.
I have known Prasant for the past 5 years and strongly believe that he is an outstanding
student and has proven the same through his performance over the years. He has been a
scholar Badge holder for six consecutive years. He has also been a high achiever with a
10 GPA since the past 2 years. He won the Sahaj Bisaria Memorial Award in grade 10 for
being the All Rounder student of Grade X. In the academic year 2012-2013, he became
the winner of the prestigious Sheikh Hamdan Award, given to students for all round
excellence in the United Arab Emirates.
He outshines his classmates not only in academics but has great achievements in other
fields too. His strengths and inclination towards Arts has helped him win accolades. He
won First Place in a painting competition held at the Gulf Medical University for his
painting on ‘A Better Tomorrow’. He also won the Second Prize in the ‘On the Spot
Painting Competition’, held by Indian Association, at Abu Dhabi. Several Paintings made
by him were selected for exhibition at DUCTAC, Mall of Emirates, as part of the
Teenage Canvas for Charity Exhibition, 2011. He was also awarded the Masterly Strokes
Award in an Inter School Graffiti Competition held on 5th June 2012, at DPS Dubai. His
extraordinary work in art won him recognition at school as early as Grade 6 and won the
same feat in grade 10. Nine of his paintings worth Dhs. 2000 were sold at DUCTAC for
charity.
He is a quick learner and a silent worker. He performs the duties assigned to him with
utmost dedication and to the best of his capabilities. He is diligent and conscientious.
These qualities make him a popular student and a role model to his classmates.
Prasant has immense patience, perseverance, leadership qualities and the ability to handle
multiple tasks. He held the position of ‘Cultural Secretary’ in the session 2012-13 and
held the position of 'President, Cultural Society' during 2013-2014. Being an office
bearer, he has learnt the art to handle various tasks and take responsibilities. He has
represented the school as a delegate in many International Model UN Conferences and
was recognized as the Best Delegate at London, Dubai and India.
Prasant is a disciplined student who makes it a point to follow the rules and regulations of
the school. He has actively participated in Clean Up Drives and Campaigns organized by
the Emirates Environmental Group. He has also been a part of the SAATHI initiative to
help the physically challenged and has participated in the Walkathons against Breast
Cancer. He possesses strong moral character and is courteous. On the other hand, his
artistic instincts make him creative and give altogether different dimension to his
personality owing to which he comes up with out of the box ideas and different approach
to an assignment. He is a team player and gets along well with his classmates and peer
group.
He also enjoys good relations with his teachers. He has immense respect and regards for
his teachers and is always ready to be of assistance to them. He is willing to learn and
also accepts criticism and instructions in the right spirit.
Given his strengths, his track record and his extrovert quality, I strongly recommend him
to pursue his career in the field of design.
I wish him very best for his future endeavors.
Best Regards,
Anisha Arora
