5. FIRST STAGE AUDIT
The first stage of the audit is more of an
overview review of the quality management
practices and standards followed by the
manufacturer. It deals with documenting
what’s being followed and what’s not. If
there are any gaps in the requirements and
practices, you have to make the necessary
changes and go for the stage 1 audit again.

6. SECOND STAGE AUDIT
The stage 2 audit is performed only after
stage 1 is cleared. The main emphasis of this
audit is on the operational aspects of your
enterprise. Evidence of how the standards are
implemented in day-to-day work and how
they improved the overall quality has to be
presented in the stage 2 audit.

7. GET THE CERTIFICATE
Enterprises that clear the stage 2 audit
