MISSION

myADHD Organization App is a
contemporary tool for adults with
ADHD to learn about their
condition, build confidence, and
employ coping strategies for ADHD
symptoms with the ultimate goal
of being better able to organize
information and schedules, set
and follow-through on goals, and
get things done.
4. Noom employs Psychology and Behavioral Science to guide users who
struggle with their health and weight. The app uses an educational
approach to allow users to learn about the Psychology behind the
decisions that affect their health. Then, provides them with tools to
create better habits.
It is extremely successful for many people, some that have never been
able to find anything that works for them in the past. I, personally,
have lost 25 pounds using Noom.
Another thing Noom does well is makes users feel as though they
aren’t alone and they are going through their journey along with a
community of other people. Users are put into a small group of other

myADHD is an accessible and private way for adults with
ADHD, or who suspect they might have ADHD, to learn
about the condition and discover personalized ways to
cope with the symptoms and thrive.
The differentiator for myADHD is there is low to no cost to
use the app. There are few apps on the market, and the
ones that are useful are very expensive. The only other
competition is seeking out a personal ADHD coach or
Psychologist, which can be inaccessible for those without
insurance and/or
income barriers.

The idea behind myADHD Organization App
is to create a positive spiral of under-
standing, affirmations, and strategies to
help adults with ADHD be more successful
at work, home, and in personal
relationships. Users should walk away
feeling validated and understood.
POSITIVE LIGHT
Unique
Positioning
There is much research and many studies
on how ADHD affects cis-gendered boys
and men. myADHD will focus on systems
and solutions for queer folks and women.
FOR THE REST OF US
The struggles that come with ADHD can
cause anxiety and depression, and
negatively affect a person’s self esteem.
This can lead to a cycle of negative
impacts. myADHD will offer a safe space to
explore what it means to have and thrive
with ADHD.
SAFE SPACE
Many adults with ADHD are undiagnosed or
self-diagnosed. Even those with an official
diagnosis have little support within their
personal and work lives and are left to
figure things out on their own.
OFFER SUPPORT
In many schools there are resources
available to help students. However,
immediately following secondary school,
college students and working adults with
ADHD tend to have nowhere to turn for
help. myADHD will provide personalized
dashboards and meet users where they
are.
GEARED TOWARD ADULTS
7. There are an abundant amount of self-improvement and physical health-
focused apps on the market today. Surprisingly, there are way less mental
health, and even less ADHD-specific apps.

inflow is an amazing app, created by a trained Psychologist. The app facilitates
a Daily Focus and provides guided sessions to learn about different aspects of
ADHD. Users are prompted to set up a profile and engage with a community of
others with ADHD. However, like most things within the medical industry, it is
expensive. Users are allowed a 7-day free trial, then will be charged nearly $100
per year to keep using the app.
There are pros and cons to adults with ADHD seeking professional help from
Psychologists and/or ADHD coaches. Psychologists can seem distant and
difficult to access. You see them through a rigid schedule, and they can be
extremely expensive with or without insurance. ADHD Coaches tend to be a bit
more flexible and available. They help with coping strategies and can teach
patients about different aspects of ADHD. The cost of seeing an ADHD coach
may also put this option out of range for many.
Noom is an impressive, overall health and weight-loss app based in Psychology
and Behavioral Science. The way it functions with approachable, easy-to-

I WANT
TO
There is no one-stop app for ADHD
that I am aware of, and I think I’d
know because I have been
searching for a long time! I
currently use between 5-10
different apps to help with
different things.
It is important to me that I find a
space where I feel safe and
validated. I don’t need to be
reminded there is anything
“wrong” with me, I just want help
utilizing all of my ADHD
superpowers!

SO I
CAN
All the switching between apps
sometimes creates more
confusion and I tend to forget
things if there isn’t a built-in
reminder. Something I haven’t
been able to find is an effective
way to organize or help with
finishing projects.

Folks with ADHD have a lot of
struggles with sleep and it will be
important to have a dark mode for
users at night. This app also
includes a web/computer version
which would be helpful for people
who prefer some variation, or
require one over the other in certain
situations.

In order to be effective for users with ADHD, this app will need to be clean and well-organized with
a strong focus on each page. It will need to be interesting and exciting enough to hold attention,
while also creating a sense of calm and never being overwhelming.
