BLOOD GROUP
By Landsteiner Blood Grouping method

6. PRINCIPLE :
The ABO and Rh are the major
Blood Group antigens forms the
important Blood Group
Systems.

7. APPARATUS
REQUIRED

8. 1. SLIDE 2 . LANCET

9. 3 . ANTISERA KIT 4 . NORMAL SALINE

10. 5 . STIRRER 6 . BLOOD TESTING KIT

11. PROCEDURE

12. 1. Take three Cleaned glass Slides marked as A,B and D.
2 . Puncture the finger and put the blood drop on individual
Slides then Take Blood Grouping Kit in which Antisera A,B
and D are Present
3. Put One drop of Antisera a on Slide A ; Antisera B on
Slide B and Antisera D on Slide D.
4. Mix Antisera well with the Blood.
5. After few Minutes determine the Agglutination.
6. If the Agglutination is found on Slide A , Group will be A, if
it is on Slide on B Group will be B and if it is found in Both A
and B Slides Group will be AB and if No Agglutination is
Found on both A and B Slides, Group will be O.

14. RESULT
So the Agglutination was seen on
B and D Slide , From there we
can conclude that the Blood
Group of Person is B+ (Positive).
