The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hilton Worldwide and
Kendall College have partnered to offer the Kendall/Hilton
Hospitality Educational Program. This program is designed to
help veterans, their spouses or anyone receive education and
experience that can lead to a career in hospitality management
with Hilton Worldwide.
HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?
Learners who successfully complete the necessary online
coursework and on-site internship requirements at a Hilton
Worldwide property will receive a Certificate of Completion in
Hotel Management, 26 college credits toward a Bachelor of
Arts degree at Kendall College and experience in a position that
could result in employment with Hilton Worldwide. If eligible,
learners can receive funding for the program through the GI Bill
in coordination with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs1.
HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM?
Learners may complete the program in six months2. The online
coursework and on-site Hilton internship requirements are
made up of four required courses and three electives that total
26 college credits. Learners can select their three elective
courses from four different courses offered by Kendall College’s
School of Hospitality Management.
