2. What is ?
ANI-MAN is a new cartoon sit-com. It is similar
to existing sit-coms such as Family Guy and
American Dad. However, ANI-MAN differs from
these programmes because of it’s less explicit
jokes and language. This allows younger
audiences to view the cartoon and enjoy the
jokes.
3. Let’s Meet The Characters!
Howard is a 32 year old man with little going his
way in life. He recently got a divorce with his wife
and since has never really been himself again. He
doesn’t seem to going anywhere in his job and is
basically on the borderline of depression. In
fact, the only thing that keeps him sane are the
strange animals that he inherited when the zoo
burnt down. All the animals live with him in his
small, loud, New York flat.
4. Snoop is Howard’s best friend, he is the only animal
that wasn’t taken in from the zoo. Snoop is a very
loyal dog and on more than one occasion he will find
himself getting Howard out of trouble.
5. Rufus is 110 years old. He regularly waffles on
about the war and tragic burning of the zoo.
Because of his age, he tends to patronise Howard
in a jocular manner about his life and his job. If
any of the gang have any troubles, Rufus is the
one that they will always refer too.
6. Snips can often be seen as obnoxious, and most
of the time he is. However, beneath his hard
exterior shell there is a heart of gold.
7. Castro is very much an independent badger.
He keeps to himself but always ends up
(reluctantly) helping Howard out of situations.
Castro’s communist ways makes it harder for
the other animals to get along with
him, however despite his beliefs, Castro is
always around when a helping hand is needed.
8. Günther is a very intelligent Meerkat, and can
often be found staying up late completing
Howard’s work. Without Günther, Howard
would struggle to keep his job and maintain
sanity within the flat. Like most
Meerkat’s, Günther regularly runs around
franticly for no reason.

10. Review
Overall, I am extremely happy with how my Extended Project has turned out. I have
been given really good feedback and reviews of my work and have recently looked in
how to market the idea.
If I was to do this project again with the same idea, I would definitely try to manage my
time better. If I did, I may be able to research further in how to actually animate my
cartoon.
I would like to continue working on this as I believe it does have the ability to be
successful, however it will require me to do lot’s more research to understand what I
exactly need to do.
