1. SHOPPING AROUND THE WORLD
Around the world there are so many different shops in which you can buy for
example, clothes or shoes. We are used to buy our stuff in common shopping
centres, only shops and more shops, maybe we can find any bar or green zone but
this centres I’ll show you below are a little bit different. Some of the most
impressive ones are:
West Edmonton Mall, Canada.
It is the largest shopping mall in North
America and the tenth largest in the world.
It was the world's largest mall until 2004.
The mall receives 32.2 million visitors per
year. It also attracts between 90,000 and 200,000 shoppers daily,
depending on the day and on the season.
There are so many zones like:

Ice Palace
2. The Grand Canal Shoppes, EEUU.
The mall has indoor canals, where gondolas
take people around the mall. The mall had 20
million visitors a year.
The place was a Venetian-styled shopping
mall with 91 shops for retail, dining, and
entertainment.
Canal City, Japan.
This building is a large shopping and
entertainment complex. It boasts
numerous attractions including shops;
cafes; restaurants; a theater; game
center; cinemas; two hotels; and a canal,
which runs through the complex.
3. Marineda City, Spain.
It is a shopping and entertainment
complex in the city of La Coruña in
Galicia. It is the largest shopping center
in Spain
and the
third in
Europe.
It has 500,000 m² of floor space, with
parking for 6,500 cars. It has over 190 shops
and catering establishments, leisure,
cinemas, a Carris four star hotel of 113
rooms and a business center.
Marocco Mall, Marocco.
It is the second largest shopping center in Africa with 200 000m² of floor
space.
The mall features a massive 1,000,000L
aquarium that contains over 40 different
species of fish. Visitors can also go scuba
diving with a professional instructor inside
the aquarium.
4. Istanbul Cevahir, Turkey.
Istanbul Cevahir was the largest shopping
mall in Europe in terms of gross leasable
area between 2005 and 2011, and is one of
the largest in the
world.
It has over 343
shops. Some of the
other facilities are: 12 cinemas including a private
theatre and a cinema for children; a bowling hall; a
small roller coaster; and several other entertainment
facilities.
It has a glass roof that carries the second biggest
clock in the world.
