Hey guys I'm young with GoVoluntr and we are growing businesses through community involvement.\n\n
Before starting GoVoluntr, I worked at Starbucks. We were encouraged to volunteer and I really didn’t understand why. As I worked there – I found out that starbucks spent hundreds of millions of dollars a year on engaging their community and through that they found that their stores\n
had increased revenue, higher customer loyalty, and better employee productivity.  That’s when I became a believer and promoter of growing businesses through community involvement. Let’s just say they really liked what I was doing. \n
So companies like starbucks that are socially engaged grow their profits 3x faster than those that don’t. Community Involvement isn’t just about feeling good, it’s also about making money.\n
So we do this with three core features. We help businesses to brand themselves as a socially good company. We introduce new customers to businesses by rewarding our network of volunteers with points and coupons to be redeemed in exchange for their volunteer hours. For example, let’s say Paul volunteers at Puppy Rescue, he then earns points for his help and he redeems those points for concert tickets from live nation on our volunteer rewards page, now Paul thinks of Live Nation as a company that cares.\n\n
2. We implement an easy to use employee volunteer program - getting employees out in the community with events from our non-profit network. We use game mechanics and social networking to encourage employee participation - making businesses look good in the community. \n
3. Lastly, we quantify their community efforts through reports and analytics. As a business - modesty is NOT a friend. We give businesses a way to showcase that data through social media to gain recognition as a leader in their community.\n\n
Let me reiterate - this isn’t just fun and games, last year 9 billion dollars was spent on cause related marketing alone - that’s not including all the other community involvement expenditures.\n\n
And We know its a platform that works: GoVoluntr was used to source and manage volunteers for the largest Art and Wine festival in Northern California just last September. \n
So how do we make money? We make cause related marketing accessible to everyone. We have an affordable monthly subscription model for small business at 24.99 a month and we charge .60 cents an employee for larger enterprise accounts. \n\n\n** maybe a graph with logos showing growth rate of business subscriptions\n
And since launching our revenue model a few weeks ago and I’m really excited to say that we have already signed up 23 businesses, big and small – with more on the way. \n
we also have 70 schools and non-profits and 800 volunteers using our site and service, and those numbers are growing at a faster rate each week. We’ve brought businesses, nonprofits and volunteers together to create a social network that has led to a great network effect.\n

We have built a team that’s made money by doing good and bring together experiences from across all sectors. \n
Making money and doing good don’t have to be two separate things. Join us in turning every business into a social good company while boosting their bottom line.  \n\nMy name is Young and we are GoVoluntr. \n
