3. “Lo, I am with you
always, even to the
end of the world.”
4. There are so many examples of
fearlessness in the bible that I am
encouraged in the Lord to stand firm
amidst these dark day of bloodshed
and sin.
2imothy 1
7 God hath not given us the spirit of
fear; but of power, and of love, and
of a sound mind.
8 One of favorite characters of
fearlessness is Daniel. Daniel knew
there were people in the leadership
jealous of him and wished that he
be removed, after they plotted and
got the king to sign a decree that he
5. should only be worshipped for 30
days, Daniel was unmoved. He
did as he always did go to his
room opened his windows wide
and prayed to the God of heaven.
Talk about unafraid and fearless!
He knew they had to be watching
his every move, just waiting for
him to break this new law
specifically designed just for him.
6.
7.
8.
9. Daniel full aware of his spies and the
consequences of his acts, yet he threw
his windows wide open as he always
did, as if there were never a law passed
to worship and pray only to the king.
10. Now I have to stop and pause here.
We should not bypass this. This was
awesome!! Daniel was sold out to
God and full aware of his enemies and
the threats of death.
Now today there are many threats
today by our enemies. Does it cause
us to take a different course od action
or change what we do usually…well it
should not, well it did not for Daniel.
Daniel kept up his usual routine acted
as if he had no knowledge of the new
law or threat.
.
11. God allowed this particular story in
the bible for a reason, for me and
you, for we have enemies all around
us, and the Christians that are most
fully serving the Lord aright, they
have the hedge of God’s protection
around them.
Remember when Balaam tried to
curse Israel, he could not do it,
because God’s people at that time
were obedient to Him. But later
Balaam induced them into sin and
their shield of protection from the
enemy was removed and many
perished.
12. Obeying God and doing what He asks
places a shield of protection around
us. How can we tell we love God? He
says, “if you love me, keep my
commandments”
Now there are some instances God
may allow the Christian to suffer for
Him, but for the most part, we have
His promise of protection based on a
condition of obedience.
13. …And though surrounded by an enemy,
God is able to save. Never fear the
consequences of standing for the right.
“Lo, I am with
you always, even
to the end of
the world.”
We know the end
of the story, Don’t
mess with God’s
Children.
14. Another fearless Character that I admire is
David. He was only a Teen who went to
check on his brothers by the father. But
he found his brothers in fear, afraid and
running from Goliath the Giant
15. But David ran to meet the
enemy, not ran away but
ran towards the enemy
In the NAME OF THE LORD.
16.
17.
18.
19.
20. David took
Goliaths’ own
sword and took
his head off.
Are there Goliaths’ in your life, defeat
them not in your strength, but go in the
name of the Lord. You will be victor every
time.
21. But how is this so? The
Bible says “perfect love
casteth out fear. David full
of the Love of God through
obedience and full of faith
trusted in God to defeat this
enemy.
“Lo, I am with
you always, even
to the end of the
world.”
22. Christ own disciples were
fearful at different times, they
ran when Christ ran into the
demoniac , they ran when He
allowed himself to be captured,
they hid themselves after the
cruxifixion, they were afraid,
but…….
23. after the upper room experience when
they confessed their wrongs when they
became on one accord, and when they
put away the notion of trying to be the
greatest. It was only when this happened
the Holy Spirit came like a rushing wind
and possessed. Then the disciples
became bold to stand for the Lord, they
no longer hid from the leaders of the
people. They were now bold to speak the
truth admist all the threats of the threats.
24. Being courageous and bold has it real
and true source from Christ. Any
other outside of Christ may bark a
strong bark, but inwardly they are
cowards. They operate out of fear. I
remember a story of an attacker of a
female, he thought he had an easy
prey, but this woman believed in the
power and protection and help of
God that says,” God is my refuge and
a very present help in the time of
trouble”, she simply called the name
of Jesus over and over again, and her
attacker all of a sudden became
fearful and ran from the scene. Folks
there is power in the name of Jesus!
The bible says that
25. Proverbs 18
10 The name of the LORD is a strong
tower: the righteous runneth into it,
and is safe.
God says that in every difficulty there
is a call to prayer.
So how many difficulties that we have
in our lives…at least for me, I have
many, therefore I am praying all the
time asking for help. But so many of
us have learned to live our lives
without the Spirit of God. And prayer.
How stressed is such a life, trying to
solve all the problems of life alone,
without prayer, without God.
26. “What a friend we have in Jesus, all
our grieves to bear, what a privilege
to carry everything to God in prayer”
Fear comes to those who are lacking
of the love of God, who have not had
their upper room experience as the
disciples had to have. God’s power
has not changed over the years, we
have, if we want more help from Him
we must humble ourselves before
Him and seek His help
27. The proud, he hates even the look of
pride, humbling ourselves is a good
start.
28. “Lo, I am with
you always, even
to the end of the
world.”
