Technical Data Sheet Trading and Development GmbH
Needle punched non-woven impregnated with water absorbing
and water swelling polymer
Product description
CEMproof® EasySeal is a “light-weight” waterproofing system for the use in any water-sealing applications.
CEMproof® EasySeal is a needle punched non-woven impregnated with water absorbing and water swelling polymer.
SilverSeal is the modified EasySeal with a UV-resistant PE-sheet extruded on top of the needle punched
swelling and water-reactive non-woven!
The self healing properties of the hydrophilic, waterreactive polymers secure the integrity of the system even when
the system is damaged during installation. Penetrating water causes the polymers to swell and thus renders the
CEMproof® EasySeal impermeable. The building structure is permanently protected against penetrating water, even
small cracks and voids in the concrete are sealed.
CEMproof® EasySeal can also be used in salt water areas!
Areas of use
CEMproof EasySeal is used in all applications, where structures have to be protected against groundwater and
seepage. For the waterproofing of foundations, basements, tunnels, garages and flat roofs CEMproof EasySeal is an
economically and environmentally sound alternative to synthetic liners, bituminous products and coatings.
Advantages
• Tough and resistant, high compound shear strength
• Quick and easy to install
• Can be installed in every season, independently of temperature and weather condition
• No need for complicated welding equipment or specially trained personnel
• Quality controlled
• Self healing properties by the pressure of the swelling polymers
• Seals small cracks in the concrete by the pressure of the swelling SAP
• Flexibility in roll dimensions (2,00m x 50,00m)
• Can be used in salt water conditions
• Tests have been made at the University of Braunschweig/Germany
• Easy handling of CEMproof EasySeal because of the extreme light weight
• Enormous water absorbing capacity and therefore enormous swelling and sealing capacity
because of embedded HSAP = High Swelling Absorbing Polymer
