2. INTRODUCTION
• Hybrid renewable energy system can be defined as the power system in which two
or more power generation sources are required to supply the electrical load in the
system.
• Wind-PV hybrid generation system along with grid integration can be a potential
choice for power production since it utilizes the strengths of both solar and wind
energy system
• To meet the increase in load demand this combination will give the best solution
in both standalone as well as grid connected mode.
• The grid extracts the sustainable energy from the hybrid wind – PV system during
the sunny and cloudy days and deliver it to the load connected.
• Reduction in transmission line losses, supply in remote areas and over all a
reliable power system are the following major advantages related to this system
