Locations: Bedroom, hall, and an outside location (a quiet, isolated place)
Overall Effect: The lyricsare quite ambiguous,one interpretationisthatit’saboutmental health,
and more specificallyabout"aparanoid schizophrenic”,whichaccordingtoanarticle was a friend
of frontman Kele Okereke.Otherexplanations are thatittalksaboutsomeone thatdoesn’t
necessarilyhave schizophreniabutislosingcontrol andthat the voicesare people tryingtoreach
out to them. The musicvideowill be aboutaperson (maybe that’sstill inschool,embracingthe
school mise-en-scene) whohearsvoicesandmusichelpsthemasasort of escapism.The audience is
