The narrator died helping others by researching this force and promises to guide the recipient from the shadows, as their death was necessary to help warn and guide the recipient, who will eventually realize they are not alone and cannot ignore the haunting force.

1. MYSTERIOUS WOMAN (NARRATOR):
You do not know me.
We have never met in any physical form.
But I know you.
And I know that you are in danger. As I was in danger before you.
You will not believe at first; as I didn’t.
But eventually, you will begin to see, to realise, that you are not alone.
My death, as inevitable as it was, was necessary, to help you, as my research
shall also help you.
Eventually you will realise that the force haunting you cannot be ignored, and I
and the others before me shall guide you, in the shadows.
