Introduction
How many times have you read stories about ordinary people making extraordinary money by
promoting products on Clickbank.com?
The Clickbank marketplace enables anyone to promote an in-demand product without having to
go to the trouble and expense of creating the product themselves.
It almost seems to good to be true, doesn’t it?
The problem is, most people realize only too well that the opportunity is there for them to take
advantage of but they over complicate things.
Usually in the following order.
 They make unwise choices regarding the product which they are going to promote.
 They get overwhelmed with task the of setting up a website or blog to promote the product.
 They get so confused by the different ‘sure fire’ methods to drive traffic to their offer that

My name is Peng Joon and I have been where you probably are now.

Before we go any further I feel it is especially important
that we touch on the subject of mindset.
When you are starting any kind of business I know that it is
easy to feel overwhelmed.
You start to look too far ahead as opposed to taking things
one step at a time and before you know it, procrastination
starts to set in.
Then, to make you feel better it is easier to look at other
business opportunities because it gives you a warm tingly
feeling and it gives you the false impression that you are
actually doing something in order to achieve your dream of
making money online.
This scenario in the world of internet marketing is so common there is even a name for it, ‘Shiny

Choosing which niche you are going to go into for this venture is an important decision to make
but not as difficult as some people would have you believe
If you look on the Clickbank marketplace you will see that there are products for sale in more
niches than you can imagine.
If you haven’t already got an account, go to Clickbank.com and open one.
It is quick and easy to do and there is no cost whatsoever.
When it comes to picking a niche it is important that you choose something which is known as
evergreen.
If you haven’t come across this term before it simply means that it has an everlasting appeal as

opposed to a niche which is based on trends or seasonal gimmicks.
Examples of evergreen niches would be weight loss, how to make money or meeting your ideal
partner.
If we had a time machine there would be no doubt that people would still be eager for more
information about these subjects in ten, twenty or even one hundred years’ time!
On the other hand, an eBook on how to take advantage of a Google loophole will last for only as
long as the loophole is available (which probably won’t be for very long!)
From my experience, choosing a niche is where many people come unstuck before they even
get started so with that in mind, I am not only going to recommend a niche but also a Clickbank
product which you can promote.
It is no problem whatsoever if you would rather go into a different niche and choose a different
product but if you do, please make sure that it meets the following criteria.
 The niche is a popular evergreen subject
 The product which you decide to promote is of an extremely high quality
 The vendor has an excellent track record as opposed to a shady background.
 The offer needs to have a funnel in place which means that a customer is offered high quality
upsells which results in higher commissions.
 The vendor should provide high quality marketing materials at no cost to the affiliate.
 Help and advice should be made available to the affiliate at all times.
The niche that I have identified on which to base this eBook is weight loss and the product is The

The Fat Decimator System itself is pretty ground breaking in that it has been put together by Kyle
Cooper who was in charge of a Force Recon unit in the Marines and his collaboration with a Korean
medical student named Sam Pak

something that can be promoted with confidence.

When you have decided on which Clickbank product you are going to promote, the next step is to
put a website together on the subject of the niche.
Most people won’t go to the trouble of doing this so the very fact that you are will already put you
head and shoulders above the vast majority of your competitors.
If you are like most people who are new to the world of internet marketing, the very mention of
building a website be filling you with fear because you either believe that this is something which
is completely beyond you or something that you just can’t afford.
Don’t worry because you are wrong on both counts.
A simple website or blog is all that is required, and you can’t really go wrong by using WordPress.
Go to YouTube and search for the following, ‘How to install a WordPress blog’
You honestly won’t believe how easy it is.
If you would rather pay someone to do for you, look no further than Fiverr.com.
Fiverr.com has changed over the years, it used to be the case that you could get any job done on
there for $5 and whilst you can still get some jobs done at that price, you can now expect to pay
more.
It is still very cheap though and if you want a WordPress blog installing, all you need to do is to
carry out a simple search.

You will be presented with loads of results, but it is always a good idea to look at each providers
feedback from past clients, just as you would when buying something of eBay.
Here is a typical example, this person is offering to build a professional website for only $60 with
ninety nine past clients giving him an average of five-star feedback.
Here’s another example, this person
will also create a WordPress website
for only $60 and has a feedback score
of five stars from over one hundred
past clients.
You don’t need me to tell you how cheap that it is but if funds
are tight, here’s a little tip.
Find four or five gigs which are around that price and with good
feedback.
Then simply send a private message telling the provider that
your maximum budget is $30 (or whatever you feel comfortable
in paying)
You will be surprised how many will come back to you with a
message that they will be happy to do it at that price.

You are going to require a domain name and hosting for your website but that will cost you far less
than you probably imagine.
You will need a domain name which relates to the niche in which you are promoting and if you are
struggling to come up with anything, here’s a tip.
Got to nameboy.com and insert primary and secondary words relating to your niche.

names appeals to you,
don’t purchase from

The best place to purchase from is Godaddy.com as it is far cheaper but to bring the cost down
even further, carry out a simple Google search for ‘GoDaddy discount code’
More often than not you will be able to use one of these codes and get a domain name for under
$5 for the year.
For hosting, the choices are wide and varied but something like a basic plan from Hostgator.com
will suffice and will cost no more than a few dollars per month.

Ok, it might take a couple of days for your website to be built so in the mean time you are going to
have to write some content to put on the website.
Ideally you are going to need about fifteen to twenty articles of around five hundred words each
If your alarm bells are ringing again at the very thought of having to do some writing, relax
because it is not as difficult as you think.
There are a few tricks of the trade which you can use for your content requirements but don’t fall
into the trap of thinking that you can just copy content from elsewhere and paste it onto your
website.
That is a really big No-No so don’t even
go there.
What you can do though is take
content from elsewhere and re write it.

is a good idea to look at any content

You will then need to go back to our old friend Fiverr.com and carry out the following search.
If you look down the right hand side of

Open up the content which I have
highlighted and copy and paste the
content into a word document.
This will result in about ten to fifteen
pages of content.

You will again be presented with lots of results with the lowest rate being around $5 for five
hundred words.
You won’t pay anywhere near that amount though because you can call the content that you have
copied and pasted into a document, a report.
It is far cheaper for someone to rewrite a report as opposed to a set of articles.
Of course, it is no problem at all if you would rather rewrite the content yourself, but I want to
make sure any barriers that you might have previously had in place which could stop you from
achieving your goals are well and truly removed!
With a couple of days you should have your website and content ready to go.
Inserting the content onto a WordPress website is really easy but if you get stuck just go to
YouTube.com where a search for (How to insert content into WordPress) will reveal some excellent
instructional videos.
Before the content is ready to put onto your website you will need to put a call to action at the
bottom of each article.
This will be something like, ‘For more information how to quickly and easily lose belly fat, Click
here!’
The ‘click here’ will link to the product we are selling and to do that we will need our Clickbank
affiliate link.
Just go back to https://fatdecimator.com/affiliates and near the top of the Quick Links you will find
‘Create your affiliate links’, just click on that and you will be shown exactly what you have to do.

You will have no doubt heard the phrase. ‘the money is in the list’ before and I can tell you that it is
true.
If you have a list of subscribers who you can build up a relationship with you will find that you can
more or less make money at will.
You will be pleased to know that we can set up our website so that emails can be collected and
that is the final part of the jigsaw when it comes to setting the website up.
In order to get people to subscribe to your email list you are going to need what is called an
autoresponder which both collects the emails and sends out messages to the people who have
subscribed.
You are also going to need a lead magnet or a bribe which you will offer subscribers in return for
leaving their email address.
You will be pleased to know that this can be set up without having to spend any money.
There is an autoresponder which wont cost you anything until you have over 2000 subscribers
which is obviously a great place to start.

They have a set of superb instructional videos which show you how to set it all up on a WordPress
website, but you are probably wondering about the lead magnet and if I am going to advise you to
write it yourself.
in the case of the product that we are promoting, a selection of high quality lead magnets are

They can be found at the same place as the other promotional materials, under the’ Quick Links’
on the right hand side of the page.
Just make sure that you include your affiliate link in the lead magnet but again, don’t worry if you
are not sure how to do this because full instructions are given at the point of download and it
won’t take you longer than three minutes, even if you have never done it before.
At this point it is just worth mentioning that any Clickbank product that you are going to promote

I can assure you that it makes it so much easier to make money and you can only imagine how
much time and money it would cost you if you had to arrange all of this by yourself.
Ok, the website and content are in place, it now time to get to the exciting part of the operation,
let’s look at driving traffic to the website and making some money.

How much money you will make from promoting Clickbank products is basically dependent on
how much quality traffic you can direct to your offer.
When I say quality traffic I am talking about traffic which is interested in the niche which you are
involved in.
I have had people tell me that they have ordered traffic from eBay or even the Black Hat websites,
you know the kind of thing I am talking about, 50,000 visitors to the website of your choice for
$20 or even less!!
They complain that this traffic has not resulted in any sales or sign ups to their autoresponder list
but what do they expect?
I would much rather have ten visitors to my website who are interested in my niche rather than ten
thousand who aren’t.
The traffic generation methods which I am going to talk about are easy to implement but much
more importantly, they actually work.
I would advise that you start with one method at a time and when you have got one method set
up and driving traffic, think about adding more.
If you have your website set up and populated with content, congratulations, you have already
come a long way and further than most newbies who are already looking at the next ‘shiny object’
which no doubt promises the earth but delivers so very little.
Anyway, let’s move on and look at the first traffic generation method.
Traffic Generation – Introduction

Uploading videos onto YouTube.com is still a highly effective way to drive traffic to your website.
What few marketers seem to realize is that lots of people use YouTube as a search engine in
preference to search engines such as Google.
Therefore, if you can put up informative videos with a link to your website or
offer it can prove to be highly effective.
If you are that way inclined, you could make these videos yourself, but you
will be pleased to know that they are probably far cheaper than you think to
have made on Fiverr.com
The whiteboard animation videos are extremely effective as you can easily
get your message over and it is possible to get them made for $15 or under at
Fiverr.com
It is also worth considering distributing your videos to other video sharing
sites as well as YouTube.
A quick Google search will reveal which are the best ones to distribute to
and if you have the time you can do it manually.
If you don’t have the time, there are several gigs on Fiverr.com that will do it
for you for $5 with an example below offering to submit your video to over
90 distribution sites.
Traffic Generation – YouTube

This is an ‘old school’ technique for generating traffic to your website and it is well worth spending
some time doing this yourself because it still works. So many marketers are always looking for new
traffic generation methods but completely overlook methods like this which is a shame for them
but great news for us.
All you have to do is carry out a Google search for online forums in the niches of the product that
you are promoting.
In our case it is the massive niche of ‘weight loss’ but do yourself a favor and try and think out
of the box. As so many people are trying to lose weight, you can target so many forums such as
those dedicated to stay at home moms, truck drivers, wedding forums, you get the picture, each
one of those groups will have people who are interested in losing weight in one way or another.
Keep an eye out for sub forums within the main forum and get involved by asking questions and
giving advice if possible.
Whatever you do, don’t jump straight in with the link to your website because at best you will be
completely ignored, at worst you will be kicked out of the forum.
I know it sounds a bit corny but if you are promoting a product, as we are, that actually works, you
will be helping people as opposed to just earning money off them.
I have seen some products out there which are nothing more than rehashed rubbish and to be
perfectly honest, if I was promoting something like that I don’t know how I would be able to sleep
at night. When you are using this traffic generation method, don’t think that you have to spend
hours trawling through the various forums.
Just 15 minutes here and there will be more than enough and when you become established on the
forums it is just a case of placing a link to your website in your signature line.
It is more acceptable to link to an actual website which contains useful information as opposed to
linking directly to an affiliate offer.
Traffic Generation – Forum posting

A great traffic generation method is by starting your own
Facebook group.
A Facebook group is extremely easy to set up and the price is
right (it’s free!)
With a Facebook group it is a good idea to really narrow
down your niche.
‘Women who are trying to lose weight before a vacation/
wedding/any event’.
‘Middle age men with hyper tension’, ‘elderly women who
want to get active’, the list goes on and on and you are only
restricted by your imagination.
Setting up a group is especially easy.
Just log into your Facebook account or register for one if you
haven’t already got one.
When you are logged in it is just a matter of looking at the left
hand column of the page and clicking on the button where it
says ‘create’ and ‘group’

At this point you should also join similar Facebook groups and just as with posting on forums, get
involved.
Whilst your own group is getting started it will be pretty quiet but as soon as more people join you
will find that it will take little input from you to get the group active and as it is your group, you will
be able to put links to your website in the comments.
Don’t overdo it though and remember as with most things in life, you get out of it what you put in.
If you take the time to keep on posting useful content into your group, you will reap the rewards.

If you are anything like me, you might have thought that Pinterest was something which is only
used by teenagers and people who are interested in hobbies like sewing and craft work
If so, you couldn’t be more wrong.
I couldn’t believe how naïve I was by completely dismissing Pinterest as a form of traffic generation
as it is possible to get lots of high quality traffic by following a few simple steps.
If you Google the term ‘Pinterest traffic’ for more information you will see various high end courses
which are offered by the internet marketing gurus which promise to show you how to tap into this
highly lucrative technique.
Don’t worry about buying any courses though because I will go through the simple steps that you
need to take to get traffic to your website by using Pinterest.
Open a Pinterest account if you don’t already have one
If you are not familiar with how Pinterest works, they have some great guides in their help section,
but it is all very straightforward.
 Pick a niche along with a relevant Clickbank product (If you are following along with me, you
will know that we are operating in the weight loss niche)
 You will need to create what are called ‘boards’ and make at least ten of these boards, each
one on a different sub niche of the main niche. In our case we could create boards on ‘lose
belly fat safely’, lose weight for my wedding’, ‘I hate being unfit’ etc
 Every day, look for around thirty images on the web which are related to your boards and pin
them. (full details how to do this on Pinterest)
 Include the URL to your website in around a quarter of these images. Some people will link
directly to an affiliate offer but you will be far safer by linking directly to your website.
Traffic Generation – Pinterest

 Everyday re pin another thirty images
 Each day, comment on between thirty and forty pins. This will help with exposure to your
account
 Each day, like between thirty and forty pins. You will find that people will like you back which
will increase exposure to your account.
 Each day, follow up to one hundred users, most of these will follow you back.
If you actually follow these steps you will generate traffic to your website.
There is no getting away from the fact that these steps can be a little on the boring side, but it
won’t seem boring when the traffic converts to sales.
There are bots on the market which will carry out some of the above steps for you so if you have
the funds available, that might be worth looking into.

I thought that it would be a good idea to mention SEO (search engine optimization) but you
should be aware that it is more of a long term traffic generation method as opposed to the other
methods which we are talking about in this eBook.
SEO is an ever changing playing field with some SEO companies charging an arm and a leg to
optimize your website but if you keep it nice and simple and carry out a few steps you will find
that over time you will start to receive organic traffic from your basic SEO efforts.
If you are not familiar with SEO, it basically comprises various techniques which will help a website
rank highly in the search engines when certain keywords and phrases are searched for.
If you have followed the advice which was given earlier on in the eBook about getting content
rewritten for your website, you will already have the basics of SEO in place.
Your next steps would be to get back links to your website and there are many ways in which you
can do this.
You could start by looking for blogs in the same niche and asking if it would be possible to write
them a guest post which a link back to your website.
You could look on question and answer websites such as Quora and answer questions people may
have regarding losing weight etc and include a link back to your website.
Reddit is also a popular website for traffic generation, but you have to be especially careful that
you are giving value in terms of the posts that you make, otherwise your comments will be voted
down and will not be seen by people on the site.
Traffic Generation – SEO

This type of traffic generation can be a little off putting to newcomers because, well, you have to
pay for it!
The great thing about it though is that you can see results and sales within a few hours.
No messing around with SEO or going through the steps that are required with Pinterest of Forum
posting.
You will soon know if a pay per click campaign is profitable or not and if it is, it is just a case of
ramping it up and increasing the profits.
As you may have guessed, it can all be a bit of a minefield but if you choose a reputable Clickbank
product to promote you will sometimes find that the vendor has done a lot of the legwork for you
in terms of the kind of adverts that work best as well as the best converting keywords.
If you are wondering whether the product I have been talking about in this eBook has gone to
those lengths, yes, they have!
They have covered landing pages, keywords (for use with Adwords) and some great information
for Facebook adds.
With that in mind, let’s quickly touch on the two most popular forms of paid advertising which is
Facebook and Adwords.

You can set up your Google Adwords account from the same account as your Gmail or Yoube
account, just follow the links.
The way it basically works is that you set up a series of adverts which target various keywords and
phrases.
The trick is to narrow the phrases down so that they are specific to whatever is being promoted.
For instance, if you set up an add campaign which targeted ‘weight loss’ it would basically be a
waste of money because the niche is too broad.
If you narrowed it down to something like ‘fat belly overnight diet’ you would get far better results
as it is targeted for someone who is specifiacly searching for that phrase.

interests and your adverts will appear on their Facebook timeline whilst they are browsing.

I won’t go into a full training course in this eBook on Facebook advertising, but before you start
you will need to set up a Facebook page on a subject which in our case, has something to do with
weight loss.
