autumn of 2009 to give up the operations
in the region of Basel, after 10 successful
years there. More than half of the
employees of that office decided then to
join the weyer group in Switzerland. They
brought with them up to more than 30
years of experience in designing facilities
for pharmaceutical and fine chemical
production, as well as more than 15 years
in the pharmaceutical qualification. The
group could therefore enter this market
faster than originally planned.

In 2010 the weyer group expanded
its range of services for clients of the
pharmaceutical sector. Beside the services
that have been rendered until today,
the group extended its portfolio with
the design and qualification services for
production facilities for APIs and final
dosage forms. Those services will be
provided initially exclusively by Weyer
und Partner (Schweiz) AG for all clients
in Switzerland, Austria and Germany, as
well as in non-German-speaking countries.
