There are 12 recognized public holidays in Poland that are non-working days. These include New Year's Day, Easter Sunday and Monday, May 1st (State Holiday), May 3rd (Constitution Day), Pentecost Sunday, Corpus Christi, August 15th (Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Polish Army Day), All Saints' Day, Independence Day, and Christmas Eve and the first two days of Christmas. Poland also celebrates several religious and traditional holidays throughout the year, as well as days to recognize groups like Women's Day, Mother's Day, and Children's Day.
