Recovery And Fitness Using The Whole Body Vibration Therapy
Having a horse injured can be quite devastating for a horse owner. With the vibration therapy it is
possible to speed up the recovery process.
Horses need to be exercised to be fit. When they have to participate in races or shows they need to be
given some warm up so that they don’t injure themselves. The vibration therapy is a great warm up
before a race or a show. Once the intensive activity is over the horses can be given a cool down on the
vita floor vibrating platform. This also ensures prevention of any injuries the horses could face.
Whole Body Vibration for healing injuries
When your horse has been injured it has to be taken off the exercise program. This can be a real set-
back in the fitness and training aspect for the horse. Horses are prone to injuries especially in the legs as
they perform very intense activities. The whole body vibration using the vita floor is a good therapy to
heal injuries especially in the ligaments and tendons.
Vibration Technology for muscle development
There is a variety of fitness programs a horse has to undergo to develop different muscles in his body,
like back muscles, legs etc… With the vibration technology it can help to give the horse an all-round
muscle development. This technology works using the vita floor platform, and the tilt in the floor helps
in the muscle development of the horses.
Recovery and fitness for sick or injured horses
Horses that have been ill due to sickness are usually put on box rest and not exercised till they are
better. When horses have been on rest their muscles become weak partly due to the illness and also
due to the lack of exercise. In these situations the horses need to be reintroduced to an exercise regime
gently. With the vibration therapy it can help to get the blood circulation active especially to the vital
organs and help in recovery and fitness.
