Hey I’m Ryan and this is my final major project where I’ll be making an advert for a popular videogame. Let’s first watch one of the already existing adverts to get a sense of what we’re looking at.
So what you just watched was the 2012 official advert for RuneScape by Jagex, the creators of the game. I’ll be making an advert for an MMORPG (RuneScape)A mix of real-world footage and virtual-world footageBrandishing the legalities and extra information atthe end of the advert like the previous one.

Currently, computer and video game companies directly and indirectly employ more than 120,000 people in 34 states. The average salary for direct employees is $90,000, resulting in total national compensation of $2.9 billion.- The most popular MMORPGs currently stand as World of Warcraft and RuneScape, both having held their leading popularity for the past 9 years. World of Warcraft hosts over 10 million active subscribed players, and in April 2008, World of Warcraft was estimated to hold 62 percent of the MMORPG subscription market. In comparison to this, RuneScape has over 200 million accounts created since it’s launch in 2001 and is recognised by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest free-to-play MMORPG and the most updated game.
