Summer fun
Residents Helen Schoon, Helen Eastman, Harriet
Boyd, and Jerry White enjoy s’mores over the patio
campfire.
Residents, team members, and
children gathered to plant a Red
Maple and a Linden tree on the
front lawn to replace ones that
were lost in the April ice storm.
After the planting everyone
enjoyed watermelon, and the
children received a Colorado Blue
Spruce to plant at home.
The 17th Anniversary party included decorations of
roses from the Touchmark garden, a cocktail buffet,
and a champagne toast.
General Justin Berger, USA
(ret) was presented a Quilt of
Valor made by his daughter,
Becky Ellwein. Quilts of Valor
Foundation was developed
to provide veterans touched
by war with comforting and
healing Quilts of Valor. For more
information, go to www.GOVF.org
Residents enjoyed the sights
while traveling to Canton and
visiting the completely restored
Kennedy Mansion.
