5. The “front page” of your performance appraisal includes instructions
6. Select the skill you would like to rate. You can do them consecutively or in any order.
7. Complete you star rating on the 5 point scale. The label for each star level will appear when you hover over or select it (e.g. Meets Expectations, above)
8. You can use the writing assistant to speed up the process and help you determine what to write.
9. Select the heading, (e.g. generally good communicator). The full text will appear in the grey box at the bottom of the screen.
10. Make the text more or less positive and control what person it is written as
11. Select the Notebook to view the notes you made throughout the year (instructions on this to follow)

15. You can review your ratings in summary form before sending to your manager
16. You have the option to return to your appraisal to re-read your ratings and comments at a later time or date if you do not want to send them to your manager immediately.
17. This email arrives with your Manager once you have completed and sent your self evaluation
18. This is what your manager can see when they log-in to complete your appraisal.
19. When the Manager views their summary it includes your ratings and comments as well as theirs.
20. Manager will send you the appraisal so you can review their comments before the meeting.
26. When you log in after your Manager has updated your review you will see this screen again – you will have the opportunity to read updated review before signing.
