There are several categories of acrylic sealers and each type of sealer can differ in the amount of solids present in the solution. Which acrylic is best to use on your application depends on where the concrete is located and what you want the finished product to look like.

3. Interior Acrylic Sealers
For interior concrete, you want to use an epoxy-
infused acrylic like the Armor AE Fusion Gloss. It
will bond better and last longer than
conventional acrylics and it is more cost
effective, and easier to apply, than an epoxy.
This sealer is used a lot on retail floors.
The Armor AE Fusion Gloss is a
penetrating and breathable,
water-based epoxy infused acrylic
that provides a superior high gloss
finish to a multitude of interior
horizontal or vertical concrete and
masonry finishes.
4. Exterior Acrylic Sealers
There are several types of acrylics that range
from 100% acrylic lacquers to watered down
acrylics to acrylic blends. The best type of sealer
to use on exterior surfaces however is a 100%
acrylic lacquer. It will bond the best to concrete,
last the longest and it won’t yellow.
5. Wet Look/Satin Sheen
• The Armor AR350 Satin
Sheen sealer is a penetrating, low
VOC, solvent based 100%
enhanced acrylic lacquer designed
to protect your decorative
concrete and provide it with a soft
satin sheen. The Armor AR350
Satin Sheen is fast drying, non-
yellowing, and provides excellent
resistance to rain, sun, freezing
temperatures, stains, and other
pollutants.
• Want a non-slip surface? Add the
Armor Non-Slip Additive to this
sealer.
6. Wet Look/High Gloss
• The Armor AR500 Clear Gloss
Coat sealer is a high solids, low
VOC, solvent based 100% acrylic
lacquer designed to protect your
decorative concrete and provide it
with a high gloss shine. The Armor
AR500 Clear Gloss Coat is fast
drying, non-yellowing,
and provides excellent resistance
to rain, sun, freezing
temperatures, stains, and other
pollutants.
• Want a non-slip surface? Add the
Armor Non-Slip Additive to this
sealer.
7. All solvent based sealers fall under the category
of being a high or low solids sealer. This doesn’t
mean the sealer will perform better or last
longer – the % solids, when it comes to acrylics,
is a means of shine control. You can add MATTE
packets to any high gloss sealer to make it low
gloss and when you do that, you are increasing
the % solids.
