This training will show you how to set up RSS feeds on your stcLIVE page (RSS = abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication) These are used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format. They will provide your students with timely topic/industry relevant updates from your preferred websites.
4. Now open your stcLIVE course page. On the right hand side of your course page, these standard blocks will be in place. To add another block to put RSS Feeds in, click on "turn editing on"... 1 2

6. ... the block then changes to this. Click on " Click here to configure..." 1
7. ...and this page opens, with previously set up RSS Feeds. To add a new feed click on “Manage all my feeds"
8. This is where the RSS feeds can be edited, and your new one can be added click “Add" Paste your RSS feed in here Give the feed a title in here 1 2 3
9. Then scroll back up to the top and click “Configure this block"
10. Your news feed will have been added to the list. Click the box next to it so that a green tick appears, Click “Save changes" 2 1
11. The new RSS Feed appears in the new block, with all the latest news, which is regularly and automatically updated. Back on your course page, on the right end side….
