- 3. If you added up the personal wealth of successful founders
- 4. It would dwarf all venture capital funds combined
- 5. So I ask you
- 6. What if founders teamed up?
- 7. and created our own society?
- 10. about all of things we HATE about RAISING MONEY
- 11. we just solve them ourselves

- 21. by using our own network to identify people that we already know
- 22. and by creating a national contest amongst Universities
- 23. to identify the 18 year olds we don’t know
- 24. It’s hard to get in
- 25. but once you’re in
- 26. the guild does something AWESOME
- 27. it invests in you as a PERSON
- 28. for life
- 29. by committing to fund every startup you create
- 30. and supporting you until you succeed
- 31. it treats founders FAIRLY
- 32. by agreeing to let founders sell when they want to sell
- 33. by allowingall companies to have series FF class preferred
- 34. by letting founders choose their board structure and board members
- 35. by having transparent and shared term sheets amongst members
- 36. and then it helps them succeed
- 37. by having engineers on staff to help in the earliest days
- 38. by providing a database of engineers to hire
- 39. by providing a relationship path to large corporations via guild members
- 40. by having a private email list for answers to quick questions
- 41. by having private research available for deeper questions
- 42. by teaching the value of failing fast
- 43. but staying with the PERSON until they succeed
- 44. so founders have something they never imagined
- 45. a CAREER with us
- 46. and a way to become wealthy with us
- 47. and a way to invest back in us
- 50. imagine
- 51. if you did this with Mark Zuckerberg
- 52. who nailed it on his first shot
- 53. you’d have a 1,000x return
- 54. but here’s the important math
- 55. if you did this with me
- 56. who took 3 times to succeed
- 57. or Mark Pincus
- 58. or Max Levchin
- 59. or any other serial entrepreneur
- 60. who took many times to figure it out
- 61. you’d still have a RETURN that is 10x of any VC
